Welding department accounts for approximately 3-5% of the value added of the current production, it is therefore complementary rather than supporting technology. Regarding equipment, TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) aggregates Fronius Magic WAVE are used – arc welding with the help of non-consumable electrodes and inert protective atmosphere (inert) gas. A specific feature of TIG welding is an excellent control of the weld pool and thus the possibility of achieving excellent results in terms of the appearance of weldings. The second technology is the industry-standard CO2 (MIG / MAG) welding by means of a consumable electrode in protective gas, whose advantage is a high welding speed, thus a higher productivity compared with the method TIG .
